Investment Visa
An Investment Visa can be obtained when a foreign national invests into the local economy of the country he/she seeks residency in. An Investment Visa is normally issued by a country based on their investment visa program, although there are countries that offer investment visas based on individual cases. The foreign national that seeks residency through investment must meet the criteria of the investment visa program of that specific jurisdiction in order to obtain his/her investment visa. The foreign national is often required to have invested a significant amount of capital to warrant residency.
