Application requirements for a residency permit

A residency permit is an official document or passport stamp verifying that the individual has the right of permanent residency in a particular country. It should be noted that there are certain documents which you need to submit in order to meet a country’s residency prerequisites. Residency permit application requirements

The official application form as issued by the country you seek a residency permit in must be completed and submitted to the relevant authority for review. In addition to submitting the official residency permit application form, you may need to submit the following documentation:

- Proof of initial registration

- Approximately 2 passport sized photographs

- Copy of your rental contract

- Copy of your health insurance contract

- Employment contract is necessary

- Copy of passport and Visa

- Completed country specific questionnaire where necessary

- Marriage certificate where necessary

- Copy of your birth certificate

Depending on the country you seek your residency permit in you may be required to submit official letters of reference including a bank reference letter, medical certificate, police reference letter and a letter of employment reference.
