Illegal immigration explained
Illegal immigration is where people move or enter a foreign country by which they have no legal right to do so. There are many forms of illegal immigration – some people who are not aware of their visa rights and restrictions may fall under illegal immigration by violating their visa terms and conditions. If you take up employment on a holiday or tourist visa you are essentially causing an offence and can be considered an illegal immigration.
Many of those with no visa and who actively seek entry into a country are knowingly committing the crime of unauthorized immigration. Crossing the border can be achieved in by some people by using fake passports while other methods of illegal immigration are far more severe. Other methods include using boats to cross waters and enter a country while other transportation methods such as lorries carry goods from one country to another have been known to be a favored method by illegal immigrants that hide themselves in the cargo to enter a country illegally.
Human trafficking, although very much illegal, is not unheard of and results in large groups of illegal aliens entering a country in which they have no right to work or reside in for a larger financial gain by the organizing party.
Illegal immigration causes a drain on the countries homing illegal aliens and results in terms of the social security systems in place and also employment opportunities available.
