Obtain a Belize Second Passport
The Belize investment immigration program as provided by the Belize Economic Citizenship Program Unit (BECIP), is regulated by the Belize Nationality Act 1985. This investment immigration option allows acceptable applicants to invest a substantial sum of money into Belize in return for Belize citizenship status, which in turn will allow the applicant to then apply for a Belize second passport.
The money invested into the Belize economy by the applicant will be used primarily to help with external debts of Belize and also to fund charitable projects in the country.
In order to acquire Belize second citizenship through the economic citizenship program there are several requirements to satisfy, namely:
- The applicant must invest a minimum of US $25,000 into the Belize economy
- The invested amount is non-refundable and will be deposited into the specified Belize economic citizenship fund.
- The applicant must also pay the applicable fees in association with the economic citizenship program. These fees vary according to the number of applicants i.e. a family of four will pay more than a single applicant.
- In order for you to obtain Belize economic citizenship with your family you will be required to pay a maximum of US $50,000.
