Obtain a Dominica Second Passport
A Dominica second passport can be obtained through their economic citizenship program in a timely and efficient manner however due to the relatively complex procedure involved in engaging in investment immigration programs it is advised that you seek the assistance of an experience consultancy firm.
There are two primary options for economic citizenship in Dominica and these are as follows:
- Family option
- Single option
The family option requires a monetary donation of US $100,000 into a Government approved project Escrow account or stipulated Government fun and this will entitle the applicant, spouse and two children under the age of 18 to obtain Dominica citizenship.
The single option requires the applicant to donate the sum of US $75,000 to the Dominica government and this will entitle the applicant only to obtain Dominica citizenship.
There are several requirements and documentations that will be required from the individual, some of which is detailed below:
- Complete and submit official application form to the Minister of legal Affairs
- Provide copies of passports (with 8 photos), birth certificates and marriage or dissolution certificates where applicable
- Police certificate is required
- Bank reference letter and proof of funds
- A recent Income Tax Return
- Statutory Declaration
There are many advantages to obtaining economic citizenship in Dominica however the primary benefit is to obtain a Dominica second passport. Once the investment program is complete and the fees have been paid to the relevant parties, the applicant will obtain full Dominican citizenship, meaning they have access to all the rights enjoyed by natural born Dominican citizens.
