Investment immigration documents

There are specific documents required in order to obtain second citizenship and a second passport in a different country. The types of documents may vary from one country to another however the standard list of documents are detailed below; this list is not exhaustive,

  • Passport copies, with validity for a minimum of 6 months
  • Passport size photos (4-6)
  • Copy of birth certificate
  • Financial reports and information detailing the individual’s financial standing. This is important as individual should be able to support and accommodate themselves in the country they wish to live in.
  • CV detailing business experience
  • Education background proved through degree certificates
  • Source of income – funds must be from a legitimate source
  • Police clearance certificate – ensure that individual has no criminal record
  • Certificate of good health proving that individual suffers from no severe disease

These are the main documents which most jurisdictions will expect individual’s to present with their application for investment immigration. In the case that an individual wishes to obtain citizenship and passports for their dependents, they are required to submit additional information and documentation including marriage certificate, divorce settlement (where applicable) and birth certificates of their children.
